Leisure
Leisure centres in Ballyclare, Ballymena, Ballymoney, Cookstown and Limavady, plus projects at Royal Portrush and Royal County Down Golf Clubs.
Featured project
Falls Leisure Centre
The 4,044m² Falls Leisure Centre includes sports halls, a fitness suite, meeting rooms, a social area, a swimming pool and a village changing area. The building has a full basement coupled with high level mezzanine rooms to meet a difficult brief on a compact site.
It is an innovative building in its use of glass, light and colour, with the pool placed next to the pavement behind a glazed screen. The colourful exterior glass panels let in light without creating glare, maximising natural daylight and greatly reducing energy use.
This pioneering building was delivered to the acclaim of the local community and authorities alike.
